To find out, they have also been found to contain properties that improve hair quality. Sodium bicarbonate can clean hair from shampoo or conditioner scraps, providing a shine, helping to keep it healthy to prevent its loss and effectively aiding its growth.

This should not come as a surprise if you take into account all the benefits of baking soda it provides.

If you want to use all-natural products for the skin and hair care in order not to harm your health or expose to potentially harmful chemicals, try this treatment and enjoy the results.

Recipe:

  • Mix 1 part of baking soda and 3 parts of water in a small bottle. You can adjust the dose according to the length of the hair (for example, in the case of hair up to the shoulders, mix 2 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 3 times that amount of water).

For people with short hair as men usually have 1 part of baking soda and 2 of water is fine.

  • Apply the homemade baking soda shampoo to a wet hair. Start at the roots and work up to the tips. Let the mixture stand for 1 to 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

You may find it difficult to wash your hair without all the shampoo foam at first, but be patient and wait for the final results. In order to remove the remains, use warm water.

  • After washing the hair, apply a rinse of apple cider vinegar.
  • Combine 1 part apple cider vinegar and 4 parts water. To avoid the smell of vinegar, add a few drops of lavender, mint, and / or rosemary essential oil to the vinegar mixture.
  • Using baking soda to wash your hair once or twice a week is enough to benefit from its active ingredients.
